Ingradients for the cake (For 16 People)
  • 260 g of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 g of flour
  • 130 g of seed oil
  • 50 ml of milk
  • 80 ml of ezlemon juice
  • 1 envelope of baking powder
  • Butter (to grease the baking dish)
For the cream 
  • 220 ml of orange juice
  • 75 ml of milk
  • 70 g of flour
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 150 g of sugar
Preparation

In a bowl beat the egg yolks with the sugar, add the oil and stir. Add the milk and stir, then add the lemon juice and continue to stir. Add the sifted flour and the baking powder and mix with a whisk. Pour the mix in a round baking pan (diameter: 28 cm) greased with butter and sprinkled with flour. Bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes. When cooked, place on a dish and let it cool. In a bowl beat the egg yolks with the sugar and add the sifted flour. Combine the orange juice and the milk. Mix everything and cook over low heat stirring constantly for about 10 minutes or until the cream thickens. Cut the cake in half and fill it with half of the cream. Reassemble the cake and pour over the rest of the cream. Finally garnish with orange slices.
